FAQ
What if my dog doesn’t sit still?
That’s completely fine! I don’t expect your dog to pose perfectly or sit still for an hour. The best photos often come from them just being themselves — running, sniffing, playing and causing a bit of chaos.
Can I be in the photos too?
Of course! You don't have to be in every photo, but I always encourage owners to jump in for a few. The connection between you and your pet is what makes the photos personal.
Where will the session take place?
We can choose a location that suits you and your dog, whether that's a favourite woodland walk, open fields, the beach or somewhere meaningful to you.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A little bit of cloud or drizzle won't stop us, but if the weather is really against us, we'll just rearrange. I want you and your pet to enjoy the session, not spend it getting soaked (unless your dog loves the sea or river!)
My dog can't be let off the lead — is that okay?
Your dog's safety always comes first. Leads can often be edited out of the final images, so there's no need to worry about that.
What should I bring?
Bring your dog's favourite treats, toys, poo bags and plenty of water if it's warm. Anything that helps get their attention or makes them happy is always useful!
What if my pet is nervous or reactive?
Please let me know beforehand. There's absolutely no judgement, and we can choose a quieter location and work at your pet's pace to make the experience as relaxed as possible.
Do you photograph other pets, not just dogs?
Yes! While most of my sessions are with dogs, I'm always happy to chat about photographing other pets too.
